The 'Blankenhaus' property consists of a main house and a guest house. Both are year round private homes nestled on Oswego Lake. Here you can enjoy spectacular Northwood sunsets and quiet solitude. It's like staying with family!

The main house is 10 feet from a sandy beach with shallow wading 15 feet out. It includes a great room that overlooks the peaceful lake with pleasant view of trees, a new gourmet kitchen, fireplace, deluxe poker table, a screened porch with deck overlooking beach and sitting area with cable TV. The small office overlooks Oswego Lake for writing or working. It has 2 comfortable bedrooms, 2 baths, a cozy living/tv room, washer/dryer and other amenities. Sleeps up to 5 adults comfortably. Perfect for two families.


The guest house is a newly built log cabin and was designed by famed Northwoods artist Joe Hovel. It includes an open concept kitchen, living room, and bed - studio format. The upstairs can sleep two but works as an Artist Studio. There is a Bath/Shower upstairs. Sleeps up to 4 comfortably.


Included with rental(s) are the use of a fishing boat, a new old town canoe, water toys for children and two outside grills. There is also a play area with swing set and basketball hoop in the driveway.


This property possess all the necessities to ensure each occupant an enjoyable and relaxing getaway.
